AN ELEGANT, SUBTLE KITCHEN DESIGN

This kitchen is part of a wonderfully large, elegant flat close to the Templo de Debod in Madrid.

The complex design compartmentalised different functions in a small space. Integrating the hallway that linked both sides of the flat (the living area and the service area) was therefore a key part of the design. In an area measuring 15m² with three different access points, we managed to make four clearly defined spaces: the cooking area, the washing area, the storage area and the eating area (see the kitchen floor plan – photo 5). The clean, modern design brought a feeling of space and calm to the kitchen.

Custom, handle-free cabinets with a white, high-gloss finish, built-in steel appliances and an exquisite, well-suited porcelain floor in white and grey tones create a calm and elegant atmosphere. The blue walls and splashbacks in the preparation areas make a bold statement.

This elegant, subtle kitchen design maximises each space, fulfilling every one of the owner’s requirements.
